General Terms and Conditions


Deposits

A deposit is required to confirm your travel arrangements. This is required no later than 10 days after your tour/holiday confirmation. Some tour/holidays have their own strict deposit regulations, which you will be made aware of at the time of booking.

Failure to pay the deposit may result in your travel arrangements being cancelled.

 
Full Payments

Full payment is due 6 weeks prior to departure. Bookings made within those 6 weeks of intended travel are to be paid in full immediately upon confirmation.

 
Credit Card Payments

In the event that Kiwi Tours Ltd agrees to the acceptance of credit card payments, the right is reserved to charge a fee of 3% of tour/holiday price to the credit card holder for this service.

 
Cancellation of Tour/Holiday – Penalties
Days Prior to Departure & fees

28 Days or more - Loss of deposit plus any Ground operator charges.
15 to 28 Days - 50% of the package cost plus any Ground operator charges.
14 Days or less - 100% of the holiday costs at the discretion of the land content service providers and Kiwi Tours Ltd.

Unused vouchers after the tour has commenced are nontransferable or refundable. Once a booking is confirmed any amendments made will attract an amendment fee. For packages that include internal flights, all air sectors are nontransferable or refundable. If you elect to travel with Kiwi Tours Ltd in the future, then your deposit may be credited towards future arrangements, dependant on the charges made to us by our ground operators.

 
Travel Insurance

Kiwi Tours Ltd recommends that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy at the time of booking. We suggest www.1cover.co.nz 0800 000 333

It is understood by Kiwi Tours Ltd that the terms and conditions of travel are accepted by the passenger if/when the required deposit is paid.

 
Itineraries

Itineraries were correct at the time of printing, but are subject to change without notice. This could come about due to road or weather conditions, or any changes imposed by other tour operators and carriers included in the itinerary. If a passenger amends their itinerary by starting or concluding the tour earlier or later or during an itinerary then it becomes their responsibility to arrange tour or flight connections as necessary.
